Mulitplicity Database Informational Carrd
Multiplicity Database is a Plural/Multiple/System Hub or Database of Plural Oriented and Friendly Servers, Resources, Websites, Outside Groups, and more! We're a 13+ server that values the safety and comfort of our members. All listings are thoroughly checked before listing and we offer lots of support for meeting our requirements. We're receptive to concerns and suggestions, even when they aren't things we can do much about or implement.
This is an Endogenic and Traumagenic safe hub; all systems types and origins are valid here. Discrimination isn't tolerated.
Rules
1. We follow and enforce Discord's Community Guidelines (https://discord.com/guidelines) and Terms of Service (https://discordapp.com/terms)
a. Any user who is found breaking the Discord's TOS will be banned and reported to the Trust and Safety Team. That includes, but is not limited to, people who are bodily under 13 years of age.
b. Messages that break Community Guidelines will be punished depending on the severity of the infraction
c. NO NSFW. This is a 13+ server, and therefore, completely SFW.
We have three channels only for adults, two to list 18+ servers and resources, and one to gauge interest and propose 18+ servers.
2. Follow the Blacklist (#blacklist).
a. The blacklist is here to keep our members safe. Slipping up once is okay, but repetitively failing to follow the blacklist will result in a strike.
b. If a topic is sensitive in nature, you’re expected to move the conversation to a TW channel, DMs, or ask a staff member before talking about it, even if it’s not on the blacklist.
3. Do not dispute the validity of any identity
a. This server does not tolerate hate speech, slurs, exclusionary ideologies or bigotry towards anyone. This extends, but is not limited to, system origin /type, gender, orientation, kin types, disabilities, race and culture.
Exclusionists and those who support exclusionary views are not welcome here.
Breaking this rule is cause for an immediate ban.
4. Don't spread hate
a. If you have a problem with another member, please keep it to DMs. If the topic needs to be addressed (for example, if they're a danger to yourself or others, or are breaking the rules of the server), please open a ticket (#open-tickets).
b. Please refrain from mentioning or referencing drama in servers that we partner with or have listed. If something comes up that needs addressing, please open a ticket!
5. Respect the server and its staff
a. Listen to staff and follow any directions given. If you disagree with their judgement or have a concern about a staff member, please open a ticket or DM the owner/another member of staff.
b. Do not minimod or enforce your own etiquette. Minimodding is when someone who isn't a mod tries to enforce the server rules. If there's something going on that requires our attention, please ping @Mods instead.
c. Keep topics in their respective channels, and follow any channel specific rules. Conversations can move topics over time. You are expected to notice and move channels when appropriate. Channel specific rules can be found in the description.
6. Be respectful towards everyone
a. No hostility, bullying, threatening or harassment, in DMs or in the server.
Please treat everyone with respect, no matter the circumstances.
b. Do not make fun of others' identities, labels or typing quirks. Also, do not enforce any labels on other people. It's up to every individual what terms they decide to identify with. If you can't read someone's typing quirk, politely ask them (or someone else) to post it in plain text.
c. Do not screenshot the server. This is true even if you have good intentions. If it’s for moderation purposes, please open a ticket for moderators to make a case by case decision.
d. Do not make generalising statements. Generalizations often do not apply to the entire group of people being referenced. If you want to point out bad behaviour, it should be on an individual basis.
e. Don’t be hostile or assume hostility during discourse or debates. If you can’t discuss things civilly, please take a breather or stop the conversation all together.
f. System Responsibility. If a member of your system were to break a rule, you are expected to still discuss the issue with staff and the entire system will be held responsible for their actions.
7. Make your display name, avatar, status and system tag presentable and easy to identify
a. Make sure your username or server nickname is mentionable on standard QWERTY US or UK Keyboards. You can ensure this by including at least three alphanumeric characters (a-z, A-Z, 0-9). Do not include the at sign (@), the number sign (#) or angle brackets (<>) in your display name.
b. Keep your avatar and status SFW. If we find you breaking this rule, we may hardmute you until you change them. This extends to PluralKit icons and nicknames.
c. If you use PluralKit, add a system tag using pk;s tag TagHere. Make sure to include this tag in your server nickname.
